Launching and updating your public dashboard is a big deal - get your stakeholders and community excited about all the hard work you're doing by announcing the launch and subsequent updates on your social media channels!
Below are some example post templates that you can use to announce the initial launch of your dashboard, updates that are made on a regular cadence, major updates like adding charts and graphs, and then soliciting feedback for the dashboard.
As with all social media posts, your #hashtag game needs to be on-point. We recommend using at least two, but no more than three of the following tags when posting on Twitter or LinkedIn:
- #LocalGovLove
- #DataDrivenPolicy
- #DataDriven
- PublicDashboards
- #Transparency
- Any other hashtag relevant to your organization
Remember to also include relevant emojis wherever possible - they help make your posts stand out and catch the attention of your audience! Try things like 📢📣👋📰🔗🌐🌎🥳🎉🖥️💡📈📊🗓️.
