Envisio Projects include a variety of roles and permissions that project managers can assign to individual users to ensure appropriate project involvement.
Project Admins and Sysadmins
Project Admins can access the projects settings and make modifications for the phases, templates, custom fields and set up task groups. Please refer this article for how Project Admins can manage project settings.
Sysadmins have the same permissions as Project Admins.
A standard user can be assigned Project Admin permissions by accessing the employee page by a Sysadmin/Consultant.
Project Roles
Project Owner is ultimately responsible for oversight and completion of the project, and will be the person who inputs updates to the project throughout its lifecycle. Project owners can edit project details including budget and phase, and are responsible for task and dashboard management.
Task Owners are responsible for completion of one or more tasks within a project. They can edit tasks that they own, as well as add comments, sub-tasks, and dependencies.
Note that plan owners and system administrators also have a level of permissions within projects. When Projects are tied to Plans, the plan owner will be able to see Projects and pull reporting via the Plans report builder console. Envisio System Administrators continue to have full access to all Projects and Plans.
Project Permissions
Project team members are defined as anyone who owns, contributes to, or observes on the project or its tasks. All project team members can view project and task details and comments, and can add comments in tasks.
