Requirements
- To change your plan settings, you are either a Plan Owner or have a System Admin role.
When enabled, you can share the progress of your plans in a Public Dashboard.
The system administrator or the plan owner can enable the Public Dashboard from the Plans Settings page for their plan. You will also need to assign one or more public dashboard administrators for the plan at this time.
Public Dashboard Administrators can access the Public Dashboards settings, configuration, syncing and publishing for a particular plan. As a public facing tool, we recommend adding only necessary individuals as Administrators, typically the plan owner and one or two members of your Communications or Website design team. Limiting access will help prevent data from being accidentally shared or published.
Enabling and Disabling
Using the Public Dashboard toggle, you can enable or disable the dashboard.
Once enabled, you can assign members to be able to access and help manage the dashboard as well as set up the administrator. Only plan members can be added as public dashboard members.
Enabled public dashboards are accessible in the side navigation:
When disabled, all pages in the dashboard will be unpublished (no longer accessible or discoverable on the internet) and the dashboard itself will no longer be listed in the Public Dashboards module.
Dashboards are not automatically disabled when you archive a plan, allowing you to keep it up and continue to display information if you’d like.
Your Public Dashboard’s Starting Point
Using the Start Home Page From dropdown, you can configure which level of your plan you want to start the dashboard on. This helps guide the user’s journey when accessing the site.
If you change this setting, make sure you resync the dashboard to have the changes reflected.
The Public Dashboard only displays the top three levels of the plan, if there are more than three levels only the rolled up status, progress and updates on the third level will be available.
