Report Filters

We strongly encourage users to apply report filters wherever possible, to ensure your reports are always up-to-date. Report filtering in Envisio is dynamic, meaning that each time the report is generated or previewed, the filter settings will refresh and apply at that moment in time.

The following report filters are applicable to progress and tabular report types. Note the far right column for Multi-Plan report availability.

Action	Is, Is not	Applies only to the lowest level plan elements to filter by clones.  Available options: Cloned Copy will only show cloned plan elements without rollups. Cloned Copy and Rollup is Disabled is used to show cloned plan elements with rollup disabled.	✔
Created Date	not applicable	Applies to the date a plan element was created. Choose from a list of predefined date periods, or use custom dates.	✔
Completed Date	not applicable	Applies to the date a plan element was moved into Completed status to filter for elements that have been completed. Choose from a list of predefined date periods, or use custom dates.	✔
Description	contains, not contains	Applies to the plan element's description or measure descriptions.	✔
End Date	not applicable	Applies to a plan element's defined end date to find plan elements with an end date within a particular range or date. By default, only lowest level plan elements will have an end date definition. To apply end dates to higher level plan elements (and leverage in filtering), use the Plan Settings page to enable 'Show Start/End Dates on Higher Levels’. Choose from a list of predefined date periods or use custom dates.	✔
Expected Progress	Is, Is greater than, Is less than	Applies to a plan element's expected progress value to find elements within a defined progress range. ‘Show Expected Progress’ must be enabled in Plan Settings, and applies to all plan levels. See also: Understanding Status and Progress
Last Modified	not applicable	Applies to the date that a plan element was last modified. Choose from a list of predefined date periods, or use custom dates.	✔
Linked To Project	Is, Is not	Applies only to the lowest level plan elements to filter by projects linked to a plan.	✔
Measure Tags	Contains, Not contain	Applies to tagged plan elements to find all elements with a particular tag or set of tags. Only available when tags have been defined on the plan.
Measure Update Date	not applicable	Applies to the last modified date of a performance measure, to help identify measures that have been updated within a particular range of dates. For Analytics visuals, it uses the visual’s last modified date. Choose from a list of predefined date periods, or use custom dates.
No Update	not applicable	Applies to plan elements not updated within a range of dates to find elements where no update has been made. Choose from a list of predefined date periods, or use custom dates.
Overdue	Is, Is no	Applies to completion date and status of lowest level plan elements only, to identify overdue elements where the end date has passed and the status is not Completed. Choose from True or False.
Overlap Date	not applicable	Applies to the start and end dates of lowest level plan elements only, to find any elements that overlap with the range of dates defined in the filter.
Plan Number	Start with	Applies to the automatically generated plan number for each element in your plan. Plan numbers follow a hierarchy that represents the plan level followed by a sequential number.  Example: Plan Number 1.2.1 indicates a 3 level plan, and if the plan is defined as Goal -> Strategy -> Action, then 1.2.1 would be Action 1.2.1 that is associated with Goal 1, Strategy 1.2.
Priority	Contains, Not contain	Applies to Priority value from plan element, and requires the ‘Show Priority’ toggle to be enabled in Plan Settings. The label can also be customized so it might have a different name on your plan. Use this filter to search on plan elements with Priority set from 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or N/A.
Progress	Is, Is greater than, Is less than	Applies to the progress slider percentage to find plan elements with a particular progress percentage. Progress at the lowest level is set by the user when they update the plan element; at the higher levels, it’s rolled up progress. See also: Understanding Status and Progress	✔
Project Budget	Is, Is greater than, Is less than	Applies to plan elements with linked projects. If the project has a budget entered, this will filter given the budget field's value.	✔
Project Expenditure	Is, Is greater than, Is less than	Applies to plan elements with linked projects. If the project has an expenditure entered, this will filter given the expenditure field's value.	✔
Start Date	not applicable	Applies to a plan element's defined Start Date, to find elements that start within a particular time frame or range.  By default, only lowest level plan elements will have a start date definition. To apply start dates to higher level plan elements (and leverage in filtering), use the Plan Settings page to enable 'Show Start/End Dates on Higher Levels’. Use the Start Date filter to search on plan elements’ start date. To search on higher plan level, the plan setting 'Show Start/End Dates on Higher Levels’ must be enabled. Users can choose from a list of predefined date periods, or use custom dates.	✔
Status	Contains, Not contain	Applies to the plan element's Status drop-list to find elements with a particular status (Pending, On Track, Some Disruption, Major Disruption, Upcoming, Discontinued, Completed). When searching on higher plan elements, you can search with multiple statuses. See also: Understanding Status and Progress	✔
Tags	Contains, Not contain	Applies to tagged plan elements to find elements with a particular tag application. Only available when tags have been defined in the Plan Settings page.	✔
Update Date	not applicable	Applies to plan elements with updates, to find all updates within a particular time frame.	✔
