Append Multiple Data Sources
Appending a Data Source involves stacking multiple Data Sources together to form a single new data set. It is best used when data sets have identical or similar columns.
Steps to Create an Append Data Source
- Navigate to Analytics -> Data Sources.
- Click on New Data Source button.
- Select Append Type.
- Name your data source. Overwrite the default data source name Untitled DataSource.
- In the Input Source tab, click on Add Data Source to add the data sources you wish to Append. Select your data sources from the list.
Columns
In the Columns tab, click on Add Columns to define the columns from the input sources you want to append to form the new data source. Click on the drop-down boxes that appear below each of the data sources and the column data type from the input data source(s) will automatically display to the left once you select the columns.
Tip
When choosing to append columns of different data types, the data will be displayed but in red, alerting you of an error.

Output Source
In the Output Source tab, you can add an internal description for the data source, change the column data type, and formatting. You can also add additional columns to the data source if required.
