Moving Measures

There are times when you may need to realign your measure visuals from linked to your plan to a different plan element Action, Strategy or Goal. The visual can be moved to any plan element within the same plan, there are no restrictions. Multiple visuals can be moved at the same time or they can be moved individually. 

Who has access? System Admins. If you have the permission to edit a planning element you also have the ability to move a measure attached to that planning element.

To move a single measure

1. Open the plan element where the visual currently resides in edit view
2. Navigate to the visual and click on the three dots and select Move
3. At the bottom of the screen a dropdown will appear to that will allow the selection of the plan element you would like to move the visual to
4. Select the destination plan element and click Move Selected Items
5. Click Save

The visual has now been moved to the selected plan element you specified. 

To move multiple measures

1. Open the plan element where the visual(s) currently resides in edit view
2. Navigate to the visual and click on the three dots either on the visual or in the top right of the visual area and select Move
3. Checkboxes will appear at near the title of each visual, select the visuals you would like to move
4. Once you have selected the visuals, at the bottom of the screen a dropdown will be available that will allow the selection of the plan element you would like to move the visual to
5. Select the destination plan element and click Move Selected Item
6. Click Save

The visuals has now been moved to the selected plan element you specified. 

Note: the labels of the planning structure used throughout the system is custom defined for each organization by the System Admin. In these examples Strategic Directions indicates the top level; Strategy the mid-level; and Action the lowest level.
