Embed visuals allow you to easily pull content from other systems into Envisio using a small piece of code, typically provided by the other system. To learn more about Embed Visuals in general, see: Create an Embed Visual. This article reviews how to create an embed visual directly from a plan element, using the Add Visual button.
-
Navigate to the plan element where you wish to add an embedded visual and open the plan element in editor mode.
- Click the + button (Add Visual) at the bottom of the screen.
- Click the New Embed Visual tab at the top of the pop-up screen and enter your visual's details:
- Visual Name: the internal name of the visual to be displayed in Envisio only
- Visual Title: the external-facing name of the visual; check the box to show the title on the visual if you'd like to include it visibly, as well. If your embedded visual already has its own title, you can leave the Title field blank, and/or leave the box unchecked.
- Embed HTML: paste the embed code provided by the other system in this field.
- Additional Information: add any additional detail or information you'd like displayed just below the visual to this field.
- Comment: Add any additional commentary or information here that will only display on the full visual page (i.e. not in the embedded version)
- Visual Tags and Owner: apply tags and ownership for the visual, as necessary.
- Click Add to add your visual, or Preview to see how it will look once embedded.
- Once your new embed visual has been added, Save your plan element.
