Use the AI automation feature to generate high-level executive summaries in a plan progress report. This enhancement eliminates the manual task of creating summaries, providing users with a concise overview of their plan progress.
The Insightful Executive Summary evaluates key elements such as the plan name, description, updates (last, all, or last 3), status, and progress indicators across the report. It then generates a concise summary that highlights the plan’s overall status, key accomplishments, potential roadblocks, and actionable recommendations.
This summary appears at the top of the report, offering a quick, clear snapshot of progress for any reviewer. Users have the flexibility to review, adjust, and save the AI-generated summaries, tailoring them to meet specific reporting needs. Additionally, summaries can be formatted as a paragraph, bullet points, or a numbered list to best suit the user’s preferred style.
How It Works
- Navigate to the Overall Summary page in a plan-level report.
- By default the system evaluates the 'Latest Update'. If you would like it to use either the 'Last 3 updates' or the 'All Updates' navigate to the Details section of report builder under Properties to make your selection
- Enable the "Executive Summary" option.
- Choose one of the generation styles:
- Generate Summary (default paragraph).
- Generate Summary with Bullet Points.
- Generate Summary with Numbered List.
- Edit and save the summary as needed for specific reporting requirements.
Note: With any AI output, ensure you review the output for quality and accuracy. AI is a tool to help automate a very manual task, the report creator is responsible for the output.
