Preview and Publish Your PD Site
When you're making edits to your site, whether you're designing it for the first time, or refreshing the content to share latest results, it is highly recommended to Preview your site (sometimes multiple times). Previewing your site generates a link that is active for 30 days so you can easily share this link with your co-workers to help audit the site before it's published. When you're ready, you can Publish it to your organization or share it with the world.
To Preview your site:
- Click on the 3 dots to the right of the Last Sync.
- Select Preview/Publish.
- Click on Generate Preview.
- Two preview links will be generated, one with branding and one without branding. In most cases, you'll want to preview the site with branding. If you are looking to iframe your site on your organization's website, and you do not wish to include the header and banner, the link without branding will be the one to choose.
Tip
Your preview link is active for 30 days from the time it's generated. If you make edits, simply generate a new preview link to share with your co-workers.

Unpublishing Your PD Site
If you no longer want your site to be available online, you can unpublish it. You can still access and update your site content. You can also republish the site at any time. When someone tries to visit your unpublished site, they’ll see a '404 - Site not found' error message.
To Unpublish your site:
- Click on the 3 dots to the right of the Last Sync.
- Select Preview/Publish.
- Click on Unpublish.
