Where Site Settings allow you to control the aesthetics of your PD site, Content Settings controls how your data appears throughout the site.
Content Settings
To access Content Settings:
- Click on the 3 dots to the right of the Last Sync.
- Select Settings, click on the second tab for Content Settings.
Display Plan Level
All levels of your plan are synced through to Public Dashboard and by default they will be displayed on your site. You can control what levels to display with this option. If your plan consists of Goals, Strategies, and Actions and you only wish to display the Goals and Strategies, simply set it to 'Level 1, 2'. If you only need to display the Goals, set it to 'Level 1'.
Enable Drill Down Into the Details
By default, Enable Drill Down into the Details is enabled, allowing your site visitors to drill into the details for each level of your plan. If you wish to limit the drill down, you can disable this option.
Sub Plan Content Labels
The Sub Plan Content section refers to the table containing the child level planning data if you have drill-down enabled. You have the option of customizing the label for the first (Description by default) and last column (Status by default) in this table.
Display Status Bar
By default, the Status of your plan elements is displayed throughout the site. If you'd rather not display it, you can toggle it off.
The next three options work in conjunction with the Display Status Bar option. Status needs to be displayed in order for them to apply. By default, we display all 7 statuses from Plans however you have the option of excluding Status Pending, Upcoming or Discontinued statuses from your Status Bar:
- Include Status Pending in Status Bar
- Include Upcoming in Status Bar
- Include Discontinued in Status Bar
Hide Status Across Site
By default, all lowest level plan elements (Actions) are displayed on your site. However, you can hide them by status if you choose to. This is useful if you do not wish to display discontinued or upcoming Actions on your public dashboard.
Note: if the Overall Status/Progress is being displayed on the home page it will not be hidden in that display but will be throughout the rest of the site
Display Progress
By default, the Progress of your plan elements is displayed throughout the site. If you'd rather not display it, you can toggle it off. Did you know that you can display Progress throughout the site but not show it on the homepage using the Display Progress on Homepage option? You can find this option right on the Homepage.
Display Lowest Level Start/End Dates
By default, all lowest-level plan elements start and end dates are displayed on Public Dashboard. If you're not comfortable sharing this information with the public, you can turn it off. If a date has not been set for the plan element, it will display 'Ongoing'.
Display Lowest Level Checklist
By default, checklist items are not displayed on the Public Dashboard. If you would like to share your checklist items on your lowest level with the public this can be turned on.
Display Latest Updates
By default, the last progress update submitted by your users before you request sync is displayed throughout the site. If you'd rather not display the latest updates throughout the site, you can toggle it off. We have also provided the option to hide the latest updates on individual pages.
Display Analytics Visual Comment
By default, Chart Comments from Analytics Visuals are displayed on your site. To view this information in Public Dashboard's published or preview pages, click on a measure that is linked to Plans from Analytics. Any information entered in the Visual's Chart Comment field will be displayed in full on the details page.
Display Cloned Actions
If your plan consists of cloned Actions, we will sync them through and by default, will display 'Cloned Actions with rollup only'. You can choose to hide them by selecting 'Hide all cloned actions' or if you'd rather display all cloned actions including those without rollup, you can select 'Show all cloned actions'.
Display Linked Projects
By default, Linked Projects with the rollup are displayed on your site. You can choose to show all linked projects or hide the projects as well if you do not want them to show on your Public Dashboard.
