Custom Subdomain
By default, a subdomain is assigned to your published PD site, using the information from your envisio instance's URL. A standard url look like this: "https://performance.envisio.com/dashboard/org_subdomain/". However when you have multiple plans with multiple public dashboard instances, you might want to customize your public dashboard subdomain to reflect the plan name.
Here are the steps to customize your PD site's subdomain:
- Click on the 3 dots to the right of the Last Sync.
- Select Settings and click on the last tab, System Settings.
- In the Custom Subdomain field, enter a new subdomain with no space. Valid values are A-z, 0-9, ‘-’ and ‘_’.
- Click Submit.
Custom Logo Link
By default, when one clicks on the logo image on your site, it will take them to your public dashboard's homepage. If you wish for the logo link to point to your organization's website, for example, you can enter the full URL here.
Google Analytics Tracking Code
To track user traffic (i.e. page views) to your site, you will need to set up a Google Analytics account (if one hasn't been set up) with a Google Analytics 4 Property and enter the unique tracking ID ("G-") in this field.
Note: Google will be transitioning from their Universal Analytics (UA) to Google Analytics 4 (GA4). As of July 1, 2023, Universal Analytics will stop processing data. Click here to learn more about how to migrate.
Enable ElfSight Translator
When enabled, it will display a ElfSight translator option on your preview and published Public Dashboard header that site viewers can use to select a language of their choice. Using ElfSight Translator service, the text content on your site will be translated to the selected language.
IP Whitelist
If you want your PD site to be slightly less public and make it accessible only to those that are within an IP, or a range of IPs. For example, an intranet site, you can do so by turning on the IP Whitelist toggle and adding the IP addresses.
To enable the IP whitelist, slide the toggle to enabled and click Add IP Address. Add the IP address(es) or range provided by your IT team and click Submit at the bottom to save the settings. From that time on, only visitors from approved IP addresses will be able to view the published dashboard.
