First time using Envisio? This article will help you navigate around Envisio Plans. The left menu bar is the main navigation to get you around the features in Envisio. The options on the menu are broken out by modules you are subscribed to - Plans, Projects, Analytics, and Polco – allowing you to easily navigate between different areas of the system. Clicking on the right-facing chevron beside the Envisio logo will open the Navigation bar, where you can see an expanded view, switch between different Plans and Projects, and access additional settings.

Map View Navigation
The Plan Map View houses your entire plan. This is where you'll be spending your time when you're in the planning stages where you need to edit your plan. Due to the hierarchical nature of your plan, the creation of your plan is a top-down process. Navigating in View/Edit Plans is easy, let us show you how:
- To get to Plan Map View, from the left menu bar, click on View/Edit Plan
.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to create your first plan element if none exists. (To create Goals (first level), you need to be a system admin or a plan owner, or your plan is in Planning mode)
1. View or edit plan element
Envisio uses a card UI to display plan elements. To access the details of the element, simply click anywhere on the top part of the card. Depending on your permission, you will either see the Edit or View icons when you hover your mouse over the card.
2. Go to the next plan level
Navigating to the next level of your plan is done by clicking anywhere on the bottom strip of the card. The chevron (Next Level) button acts as a guide.
3. Moving through plan elements
Assuming some parts of your plan have been created, the first level of your plan is displayed when you enter the Plan Map View. The elements are displayed in the form of a card. The 'Result:' field displays how many records exist on that level. The number of records(cards) you see depends on your screen resolution. To view the next set, simply click on the left/right arrows on the side.
Here's an example of navigating to the third level (Action), and then moving across the second level of Objectives using the left/right arrow. Notice the set of Actions change to match the Objective that is in focus.
