Benefits of Calendar Reminders
Calendar reminders will help you and your staff never miss an update due date again. Frankly, relying on group emails or messages in MS Teams may not be enough. People often plan their work based on what is in their calendars. Calendar reminders from Envisio will provide a direct reminder in the form of a calendar event with a one-time easy subscription process.
Once subscribed, our system takes care of the rest. It automatically scans for users' assignments both at the time of subscription and the start of each reporting period. This means you'll only see calendar events relevant to the levels of the plan where you have assignments. Plus, when there are changes to reporting due dates, the calendar events will seamlessly adjust, ensuring you stay effortlessly up-to-date.
Envisio calendar reminders will look however calendar reminders currently display in your existing email. It works with all email clients (e.g., Outlook, Google, or Apple). Users' will be able to set their own reminder preferences including the time zone, start and end times for the event, and the roles (owner/contributor) for which they'd like to receive reminders.
Calendar Reminder Setup
Setting up calendar reminders is simple by following these steps:

Click on your Profile located on the bottom-left corner of the menu.
- Navigate to the User Preferences page by clicking on Settings (cog icon) to the right of your profile name.
- Select Calendar Reminders
- Before subscribing, select the preferences for calendar reminders on a plan-by-plan basis, including:
- the plan elements for which you would like to receive calendar reminders, based on your plan element role, by selecting one among Owner, Contributor, or Owner & Contributor options from the Role drop-down menu
- the Event Time to choose the start and end time of the reminder
- the Time Zone which you would like the reminders added for
- Click on the Copy button and follow the directions below based on your email application. If your email application isn't listed, browse the help articles for adding a calendar via URL. For more information in the instructions below, click on the links to open the respective application's help articles for manual calendar subscription.
For Outlook: - Go to outlook.com calendar and log into your account.
- Click Add Calendar on the left sidebar.
- Choose Subscribe from web from the left sidebar.
- Paste the URL you copied into the calendar URL field and enter a name for your calendar.
- Click Import
For Google Calendar:

- From Google Calendar, click the "+" button under the Other calendars heading in the left side toolbar.
- Select From URL in the menu.
- Paste the copied URL and click Add calendar.
For Apple Calendar:

- In the Calendar app on your Mac, choose File > New Calendar Subscription.
- Enter the calendar’s web address, then click Subscribe.
- Enter a name for the calendar in the Name field, then click the adjacent pop-up menu and choose a color.
- Click the Location pop-up menu, then choose an account for the subscription.
- If you choose your iCloud account, the calendar is available on all your computers and devices that are set up with iCloud.
- If you choose On My Mac, the calendar is saved on your computer.
- To get the calendar’s event attachments or alerts, deselect the appropriate Remove checkboxes.
- Click the Auto-refresh pop-up menu, then choose how often to update the calendar.
- To prevent alerts from appearing for this calendar, select “Ignore alerts.”
- Click OK.
